Some people call me Luisa, a few call me Mary, but most call me Marialuisa. There is still another name to which I answer if called. It is the only one that makes me unique and that, with various intonations, I hear daily by only two wonderful voices: the most beautiful name, the same in every language to me known. In Italian it sounds like a kiss given twice.
I lived in the Eternal City for four years. When I left, I took with me a degree in Oriental Languages. Said like this, it doesn’t sound like much but… it opened to me windows on a difficult and controversial world. A world that, in my own way, I have decided to sweeten.
Life and love have brought me back to Maierato, a little village in Calabria, southern Italy. Here I work as an Italian teacher for foreigner students.
Here, among Tears and Sweetness begins my adventure.
